Power: Anthony has 17 KOs in 31 wins. Jon has 11 KO's in 24 wins (I am including the DC stoppage which was a NC and thus both are +1). Anthony has a higher percentage of finishes but Jon has fought DC and Anthony has not.
Ground game: Anthony has 11 submissions in 31 wins but has been submitted 4 times. Jon has 6 submissions in 23 wins. Anthony's submissions were more varied (triangles, RNCs, ets) while most of Jon's have come by guillotine.
Cardio: Both fighters have shown good cardio.
Wrestling: The nod goes to Jon here.
I think I will be laying a small amount on Anthony Smith here just because the odds are so long.
I don’t think smith is ready yet. It kind of reminds me of volkon O vs DC... dc was levels above. I’m not taking anything away from smith, but Jones really should smash him. I don’t like Jones anymore, but I do hope he wins (as weird as that sounds). Interesting that smith moved up from MW as he’s a pretty big 205er!
