View of Lviv from the roof of nine floors

To be honest, the area of old Lviv is not that big, though on it is concentrated by a large number of historical monuments, what arranges numerous tourists who can bypass almost all the most interesting on foot (this applies to famous places, there are no less interesting places, unknown to the general public). In fact, Chornovil Avenue (adjacent to Warsaw Street), which begins directly behind the famous Lviv Opera House, is an active building area along a kilometer, and a little further a typical residential area (clearly seen in the third and fifth photos). However, the first and second photos show the more ancient buildings of the Pidzamche district (which is so called because it is located under the Castle Hill, where the Lviv TV Tower is located). All of these photos are from the roof of a house about one kilometer from the aforementioned Opera House, which you can also see if you are very careful. However, the historic center on the other side is surrounded not by high-rises, but by houses that are also interesting, since they were country villas in the 19th century and are also interesting to see. P.S. Almost forgot to mention that the fourth photo shows the open-air museum Lviv ghetto, which until 1941 concentrated most of the Jewish population of Lviv and surrounding settlements. On a European scale, the Lviv ghetto was second only behind Warsaw and Lodz. Somehow I will talk about this in more detail.
