QUICK NETWORKING TIP: Adding a second/third/fourth router on your network or LAN
Here's a quick tip if you want to add another router on your network.
You must
- Disable the DHCP server of the second/third/fourth router that you want to add on your network.
- Connect the second/third/fourth router to the LAN port of the main router and to the LAN port of the second/third/fourth router.
- If you want the second/third/fourth router to act as a Wi-Fi hotspot just turn-on its Wi-Fi
- Make sure that you choose a different Wi-Fi name with each device to avoid confusion.
- Make the channel of your Wi-Fi different with each other to avoid signal congestion.
