Tucker Carlson Fails at Capitalism and Innovation

Last month, I wrote an article critiquing Tucker Carlson's comments on the Ben Shapiro Sunday Special. Carlson believes that the government should prevent technological innovations, such as self-driving cars, in order to protect the jobs of Americans.

While his contentions sound good in theory, they ignore the history of how innovations under free market capitalism have led to new jobs and a higher standard of living for everyone. While Tucker Carlson claims to be a proponent of capitalism, his position is the antithesis of capitalism.
