This is taken from @transisto's thread. @barski likes to post walls of text, so I figure it would be best moved here.

Your comment will receive no downvotes by people who disagree with you.
This is your phrase, and you lied to me. Lying. this is a bad beginning for a conversation. The flag from @jasuly is already under my post.

This is a stretch to call this a lie. If you look into your own conscience, you will know that I am right about this. I predicted it, but I didn't lie about it. I simply got it wrong, not unlike your hero. Also, note that he downvoted only two comments and not unrelated posts on your blog, unlike Haejin who most certainly would.

It does not surprise me. It does not surprise me that you do not see the difference between such concepts as speculation and popularity.

I do see the difference. In this context, they are totally separate and unrelated concepts.

Most likely, it is profitable for you not to notice this.
If you can show me where I am making any profit from this, I will gladly admit it. I make no profit.

I doubt that you are so stupid and uneducated that you do not distinguish these two concepts from each other.
You are right.

Is it possible to call Aerosmith speculators if they raised the cost of tickets to their concert?
No, it's their visibility, their popularity. They just think they deserve more.
Their concert is not a basic commodity. Do not like the price, just pass by. Criticism is inappropriate here. everyone wants to get more for their work. If they pay for it, then someone is happy with it.

But in this case, everybody is forced to pay for it. Influence over the reward pool belongs to everybody. He is not entitled to the value of his vote, he is entitled to the value of everybody's votes totaled together. This includes the downvotes he receives. These downvotes are totally appropriate because they are based on individual assessments on the value of his product. This constitutes consensus. Aerosmith can demand a higher cost for their tickets because the market says they can. The market here says otherwise about haejin's posts. He should gladly accept that as he still makes tons of money from here. Instead he thinks he should be able to force people to listen (and pay) for music they don't want. If Aerosmith did the same, they would get run out of town.

Do not like the price, just pass by.

Wish I could, but instead I and every other Steem holder is forced to pay for it regardless...unless we take action and downvote.

Criticism is inappropriate here. everyone wants to get more for their work.

Criticism is totally appropriate here. It is a major part of the reason this platform exists. You are criticising right now.

If they pay for it, then someone is happy with it. Everyone should assess their situation, and not try to look into someone else's wallet. This, to put it mildly, is a poor quality of a person.

That would be true if he were making his profits in the open market, but he’s not. He’s making his profits as if this were a Proof of Stake system, but it’s not. He is subject to the votes of all other people, as are they. That’s just a fact of Steem.

We are looking into our own wallets and acting accordingly. We cannot vote any more than the SteemPower we have. We are simply exercising our rights. Why is it ok for him, but not us?

Say that @haejin does not take criticism? And where did you decide that your criticism is necessary to someone? This is your ego. Instead of criticism, do better, show an example.

The same place you decided that your criticism of me was necessary. This is your own ego. Why do you not choose to sit silently and act differently, as an example? Have you tried this? How effective was it at stopping this war? Haven't you proven that your lifestyle is better? Why do you still choose to criticise?

I'm not a specialist in the field of crypto currency, but, I have experience in other areas. If I see that a person is making frank stupidity, which he can personally harm, I tell him about this personally. If my opinion simply disagrees with the opinion of a person, I respect his opinion and go further in my own way.

Cool. I do the same. I’m glad we can find common ground here. The only difference is that when I or some other minnow does this, he chooses to try intimidate us by wiping out profiles for months.

Why do I support @haejin ? For several reasons. First, I respect him for the qualities for which you and your team hate him.

I have no team. I do not remember ever interacting with @transisto. I’m not saying it hasn’t happened (I’ve been around for a little while), but I don’t remember it. Regardless, we are not friends let alone “a team”. This sounds like Haejin speech as it is a lesson he still fails to learn despite it being told and demonstrated to him numerous times. First, we were all part of Bernie’s “gang of thugs”, then we were victims of a witch’s spell, now we are all part of Transisto’s Team. The sooner you gang of pillagers (Doesn’t feel too nice to have the tables turned on you, does it?) realize that you are opposed by individuals who have happened to come to the same conclusion independently, the sooner we can start getting back to real solutions.
I do not hate him. I don’t. I think he is extremely unstable and very childish for a man of his age, but I recognize that as his afflictions. We all have afflictions of some sort. One of mine is that I cannot simply abide by someone who would venture to silence me through threats. Is that ego? Probably, but I can’t help but to think that it is an action God would condone of me.

If some idiot could not make money and bought his own bike, sitting in the bushes, and throwing sticks in the wheels of someone else's bicycle, then it is understandable that he deserves a punch in the face with his fist. This is an example of criticism and response. This reaction is justified.

This is also not an accurate metaphor for this situation. I’ll see if I can give you a more accurate one:

Say we lived in a land where the those wishing to rule could legally buy votes. In fact, all votes had to be bought. In this land, it was common for the rich to be rulers. One person bought so many votes that they became the supreme ruler. One day the rest of the people decided that the actions of the supreme ruler were not in line with their views. So they decided to use what little money they had to vote against the supreme ruler. Now, they did not take any money away from the ruler, they simply used their own money to remove a small amount of his votes. For this, the ruler decided to attack every facet of their lives, specifically targeting the smallest of those who opposed him so that his force would be most recognizable.

^That is a more accurate metaphor of this situation and your hero. Neither the supreme ruler nor the rest of the people broke any rules by buying and using their votes. However, the attack of the attack of the supreme ruler is worthy of criticism.

I do not know, maybe you are too young and did not see life from different angles. But after living 45 years, I will tell you that the person who is responsible for his words deserves great respect. Being a man of his word, regardless of whether it will bring him profit, or loss, this war, or the world, is very important, even in the sight of God.
See, we agree again. I also hold someone’s word in high esteem. That’s why, when I caught Haejin lying, I felt compelled to address him...just as you suggested you’d do earlier. For months, he claimed to have no association to the Ranchorelaxo account, but we now know for a fact that he has complete and direct control over Ranchorelaxo’s votes. He has said that he only self-votes to defend against downvotes, but he was self-voting long before he ever received his first downvote. The fact of the matter is that he is not a man of his word. It’s sad.

The Word of God says that those who are not true to their word will be rejected.
^That sums up this situation pretty well, if you ask me.

Yes, more. To understand what interests you and your team are lobbying, it's enough to look at the correspondence in @ranchorelaxo purse. There is no disinterestedness in your actions. Call, please, things by their proper names. You fight for the sphere of influence and nothing more.

Again, no team. I’m not sure to what correspondance you are referring, but I made none of it. I don’t fight for sphere of influence, I fight with my sphere of influence, as does haejin. I have already laid out the reasons I do so previously, but I’ll sum it up.

I do it because it is my assertion that his products represent a lower level of brain power than the rewards they receive and that showcasing such content is bad for Steem from both the platform’s perspective and the investor’s perspective.

Your tactics are widely known. It has its name. This is a sent Cossack. You really need to get@ranchorelaxo involved in the votes of your bots. What are you doing, you send such a Cossack to Haejin. This little Cossack, he is a provocateur. A little fellow like that, quiet and polite. His task is simple, to enter into conflict. For him, immediately begin to intercede and the whole crowd pounced on the offender. How so, offended such a good man !? The same tactic was applied by Russia, when it seized the Crimea and Dombas.

I’m not too sure what you are saying here, but I entered this “war” only after multiple uncalled for flags by your hero. I engaged in respectful dialog with his supporters, as I have done with you. He flagged when I reported some fact he did not like. Then he did it again. After repeated attempts and respectful requests to have him remove those flags failed, I was less forgiving of his intentional abuse.

They Haejin, branded, with different epithets. But, guys, sometimes this fishing method does not work. The fish is too toothed. Just admit it and go your way.

In the US, we have several sayings addressing this situation, but one often used is this:

“I’d rather die on my feet than live on my knees.”

I will not cower to the will of those more powerful than me for the simple reason of self preservation. Not when the result is slavery. I own Steem, as do you. It is our right to make use our Steem how we see fit. I will not ask you to turn a blind eye to harm caused to you and others, do not ask the same of me.
