RE: This is not what I voted for!

in #trump7 years ago (edited)

This is completely exaggerated crap. The anti-Democratic establishment and media has been trying to undermine this legitimate Presidency by distorting anything they can from day one, and this is no different. Trump condemned the act of terrorism, condemned the Alt Right. and condemned the Leftist agitators equally. Now that's been posed to the public by both the media and the Alt Right themselves as some kind of praise of the latter, and regrettably most Americans seem to be buying it. You guys need to quickly realise how you're being manipulated by the repetition of terms and the omitting of facts RIGHT NOW before your Democracy is undermined forever. There's no excuse for this ignorance in a world where information is so easy to access.

Maybe in the costal cities but most are seeing right through the MSM false talking points. If the left keeps this up trump will win again 100% if he runs in 2020.

It's not just MSM. I can find you plenty of reputable independent citizen investigative journalists, people with proven track records of accuracy and impartiality. Take Philip DeFranco, for example. Here we have someone with millions of views and subscribers, and he has taken plenty of heat from folks both on the left and right. His impartiality is actually so solid that nobody has yet determined how he votes or what party he is in, if any at all. I don't agree with everything he says. A lot of liberals think he is impartial to the point of being a racist apologist. I will post his video here, and hopefully you will watch it. He packs more information into 12 minutes than I could get across spending hours typing you a manifesto.

Is it not true that Trump's approval fell to 34%? Was that a snap-poll conducted shadily and then repeated by other complicit news organisations? I fear for the U.S. that it is undergoing the preparatory steps before a Colour Revolution.

You responded to a post of a 30 minute video 14 minutes after I posted it. Typical Trumpist making claims and deciding on their position without even bothering to examine the evidence presented. Watch the video, then talk to me about the specifics. You might even earn a nickel from me in the form of an upvote, but only if your comment is actually relevant to the post.

Hey, dipshit. All that matters here is what TRUMP said, and I've heard what Trump said before I saw your post. I don't care what's in the video and have no reason to watch it to form an opinion about your "opinion" on what Trump said, so take your partisan name-calling and shove it right back up from where you pulled it.

Not true. Trump's voice is not the only voice that matters in America. Republicans are abandoning ship now that the Trump brand is becoming too politically toxic to associate with.
The point still stands that you really shouldn't comment on a post about a video, without actually watching said video. If you speak about something from a position of ignorance, you can often end up making a fool of yourself.

Dipshit. IN THE CONTEXT OF THIS CONVERSATION. The context being, what Trump said.

Every time the President has denounced white supremacists, he has been reading the words of his handlers off of a teleprompter. Every time he throws shade at the counter-protestors and provides cover for the Klan, he is speaking his own words from his true heart. Only the most fanatical members of his base have failed to notice this, and that's why he is losing support from the corporations and politicians that are smart enough to know when to dump a toxic brand.

What's with your reliance on MSNBC clips? Are you incapable of thinking without them or something?
I've no love for Trump, by the way. Looking from the outside in, I honestly believe you have a caricature vision of the condition of your country, informed completely by the circus that is Trump and the comical news media which exaggerates everything he says and does. It's tragic how you don't see this.

First of all, you have no idea how diverse my media intake is. You shouldn't make ignorant assumptions.
Secondly, yes, my opinion of the condition of the country is mostly formed by watching the president and following the news. A lot of news. From every perspective that I can. What I choose to share is what I have found to be accurate and true.

these are copy/paste comments you also find same on Facebook

I only copy pasted my response to the two people that responded within 15 minutes of me posting a 30 minute video. If someone isn't going to bother to take the time to watch the video I posted before they ignorantly comment, why should I take the time to type up a new totally unique response for both of them. To me, the funny part is that a second individual did this even I after I publicly called someone out for it just a few minutes earlier.

I actually was talking about the original comment you answered to. I seen this in one form or another on Facebook and YouTube, as if there was a playbook of possible comments they can apply like the colors in a paint-by-numbers image of Mickey Mouse.
