This morning new tires and an oil change.

Woke up listening to chirping of the birds in the largest olive tree in the world. Ginormous! Pinched the better-half's butt and scurried off to the kitchen. Expresso in the coffee machine. Grabbing the eReader, to the back porch. More birds chirping. Slouching in the patio furniture to grab the miniscule shade from the umbrella. The morning sunlight lightens the backyard, but it's going to be a scorcher.

Meander inside to pour the Italian cream into the fresh brew. Ambushed, better-half starts off with some jabash and a butt rub for me. Small talk whispered between kisses and rubbing. Hamburger, hamburger!

Jump in the car and drop off the car for new tires. Time for a haircut. Three miles up the Boulevard, two legs fail me not, with a stop to get some cool refreshing bottled water. Scorcher today.

Barber is a nice lady. Mirth and making fun of all the men barbers ensue. After stepping outside there is the better-half pulling in. Love text messaging.

Head home and fix a snack, cheese, crackers, summer sausage, and pepperoni. Ring ring. Time to pick up car. Better half telling me to drive safe as getting out of car. Jump in the car with new tires. Race up the Boulevard - new tires don't fail me now. Start car. Stop car. Mr. Gutzofter your oil change is done. Please drive straight as you exit.
