The White Planetary Wizard known as Heather Elizabeth joins InnerVerse just in time for the Return of The Year in the 13 Moon DreamSpell (aka the Galactic Mayan Calendar). This enthusiastic energizer uplifts the world with ACTivations for the souls she PLUR-ks with (play + PLUR + work). Tune in for a look in the mirror to the depths of your own infinite potential, and learn more about this incredible system of self-knowing she teaches.
I've never been one to over analyse my dreams - they are usually just really fun or interesting, or easily analysed because of their perfect simplicity, or reason that my mind is overworking - I'm worried about an argument I had with someone, or I ate too much cheese before bed (okay, that's a stretch, as I'd never do that, but you know what I mean!). My love laments that he only has dreams about drug dealers after him for money, or war - whereas I dream I'm surfing a perfect surf break with dolphins or writing a novel in French, which is really hard to do, because I only speak Australian.
The second Full Moon in Libra arrived yesterday, bringing us a second bite of the apple in the constant effort to find the right balance between singularity and connection. So, maybe it would be interesting to look at the different expression of the Libra Moon in general -- and asses where we are now in the experience of it.
The explicit notes on the Full Moon in Libra are down in the last couple of sections in this essay. But don't just skip over the ones that come before. They add perspective and context to the inner work we're taking on now.
How often do you take the time to stop and observe what is going on around you in the natural world. To notice the beautiful dance that occurs between the birds, the animals, the plants and the trees. How the birds, carry seeds as they fly and then drop them so that they can grow into plants and trees. How animals carry some of those same seeds on their fur, transporting them to new places.
How the water from the clouds fall and sink into the soil, carving pathways through the rocks only to come back to the surface again as clean spring water. Water that we can drink, water that can heal us.
I am practicing a REALLY lazy way of prepping new garden beds that doesn't require any digging, tilling or weeding!
Let's get right to it... no beating around the bush.
Here is my recipe!
Make a pile of compost on top of your grass
Wait one year
Peel it back and reveal your brand new, fertile garden bed ready for planting!
Sound easy? Well it really is. Ok, I'll show you how it works with SIX different examples (limited only by my imagination)!
The picture below is a clue as to how it works. These compost piles have been sitting through the winter.
There is much that is lost in the world where the loss is inescapable, like the fires at the Cathedral in France and the Mosque in Jerusalem this week. But there are losses of other great places of worship that are simply not creations of humankind, yet are just as meaningful in my book.
Those who make forests their "place of worship" know what I mean. Those who take their solace beneath the canopy of the trees, find their own ground in the roots of these wise, loving elders.
Heartbeat of the Forest
I was not devastated to see Notre Dame go up in flames, and I hope they never rebuild Her.
Sad, yes, as one is sad when a beautiful old thing that has outlived it's usefulness must be released. Shocked even. But also I felt a deep, silent "Yes!" as I felt empowered.
You see, I BELIEVE that our words, our art, our creations and yes, our buildings, carry vibrational energy. They change the physical world. One only has to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau to FEEL and KNOW that. The vibrations of torture, suffering, loss and man's inhumanity to man linger. The sadness we take with us as we leave there, changes what we create. And so the ripples continue.
Even though we might not want to face the fact we will one day shuffle off this mortal coil, we all do die one day. Some people, knowing this, might have an 'only live once' attitude to life and won't change their lifestyle until illness comes a-knockin'. Others are absolutely obsessed with every morsel of food that passes thier lips. Some might start a mental health practice such as mindfulness due to extreme stress that they realise is going to kill them, and some start it as a preventative measure just coz they know it's going to make them healthier and happier, or are looking for a way to cope with death, or even just a way to understand life.
People often seem to frame the concept of desensitization in negative terms but I am not so sure that it is always a bad thing. We occasionally face difficult, dangerous, or intense situations throughout our lives and keeping one's cool can make the difference between success and failure, victory and defeat, or even life and death. However, we, as regular people living in our regular world, receive very little training to deal with those intense events because it is not feasible to expose ourselves to their hazards. Many people crumble under stress because they lack the necessary experience when real pressure touches their lives. Fortunately, I believe that psychedelics can help. The inward journey that they take a user on is incredibly intense and usually rather safe.
Derrick Broze speaks at Lucidity 2019 in Santa Barbara California about digital surveillance, social media, censorship of independent media, holistic activism and much more.
I've experienced this same basic issue coming up in quite a few different ways over the past year, especially. I spoke about one part of it in this video right before I left Acapulco, but it's been coming up even more recently.
Dayna Martin (@officialdaynamartin) sits down with Carmen to talk about her 20+ years experience with raising children in a philosophy quite different from the Mainstream Parenting Paradigm.
Peaceful Parenting is a Parenting Philosophy that views the Relationship of Parent and Child to be one of Equal Respect, Empathy and Compassion! Instead of Domineering and commanding our children to obey us which succeeds only in psychologically traumatizing the child, the parent instead values their unique individuality and places an emphasis on trust between the the parent and child
By not forcing them into schools or a certain lifestyle and simply embracing their creativity in whatever form it takes, Dayna tells us that parents can empower their children and bolster their confidence as they go out into the world to create a Life for themselves!!!
This is part 5 of a transcribed and edited biotecture lecture by Michael Reynolds. If you do read or watch this and have any questions please ask in the comments. I am happy to educate and help you to understand this. Biotecture is amazing in so many ways, and even after 20 years I still have not seen a model of sustainable building that even comes close in so many important areas such as performance, carbon footprint, longevity, ease of build, etc.. Now you can also come to understand what Biotecture Really Is about!
@SenorCoconut has asked me to answer 5 questions about my eco-conscious creation practices, environmentalism, and what inspires me. I thoroughly enjoyed answering these questions, and hope my answers inspire many of you to take the power back in your own hands to assist with the healing of our beautiful world. These questions were posed by the @HomesteadersCoOp - and are as follows:
So in the first post of my thoughts on these transformational festivals I went a bit on a rant about how pretentious the whole experience can be. While they do help some people open their minds a little more, there almost always seems to be this exploitation undertone floating about...
Like I've said before, we can swim right through the bull shit and get in on the real fun!
For me it's the art the music and the workshops.
Even though I spent most of my time at the playground in the Kids Zone, I got to explore a bunch, alone and with the whole family! Some of the stages were really incredible.
Take this one for example, decorated with driftwood and living gardens:
We are seeing a paradigm shift and those who are into synchronicity understand that there is meaning to all that happens.
This week we saw the Notre Dame in Paris catch on fire. On the surface, it looks like a tragedy of an old structure. Notre Dame is a historic monument and, thus far, a billion dollars poured in from around the world to rebuild it.
Paris is also ground zero for the conflict between the will of the people and government. The Yellow Vest protests garnered worldwide attention.
Both these situation so a bit of the old and some of the new.
Notre Dame is part of the richest, most powerful organization on the planet. It is also one of the most corrupt ever seen. The Catholic Church is far from the paradigm of virtue. Instead, it is a history wrought with murder, fear, pedophilia, and theft. For the last two thousand years, it had control over a large section of the population. It also is a major epicenter for conditioned thought and mind control.
Facebook has been designed to cause psychological addiction in it's users (for the financial gain of it's shareholders). Steem tips the balance by rewarding users, but how does it's design compare in terms of exploiting addictive tendencies? Let's take a look...
DISCLAIMER: To be clear, I am not looking, here, to help Steem sites become MORE addictive - I am, in anything, looking to help users be able to use Steem and other social systems without suffering due to habits and addictive patterns.
Addictions are defined, by me, to be behaviour patterns which we continue to choose to use (consciously or unconsciously) even though we know they are harmful in some way - usually repetitively. Habits are similar, although they don't necessarily need to be harmful beyond the fact that they rely on part of us being unconscious (on auto-pilot), which in itself is not beneficial for wellbeing or embodying full awareness and understanding of self/life.
The yellow vests protests got a revamp of fury at the coercion and theft of society by the hand of the elites. While the poor protest their exploitation at the hands of the rich and political elites, the rich get appreciation for donating to the Notre Dame Cathedral, yet they are only footing 30% of the bill. The rest of the 70% is coming from taxes.
The upper class is patting themselves on the back for coming to the rescue of the rebuilding efforts for the Notre Dame Cathedral after it suffered a devastating fire last Monday. Meanwhile, the income inequality continues to persist and grow. This has fueled more motivation for yellow vests protests which drove a mass protest today in France.
A big thank you to @hungryhustle for creating the amazing infographic of the 8 Pillars Of TribeSteemUp and For @eco-alex for creating the tribesteemup banner and logo.
