Located in the southern end of San Luis Obispo County, in Nipomo, Monarch Dunes golf course is a par 71 championship design that introduces links style golf to the Central California coast. The course is also 1 of 50 courses chosen as a qualifier for the 2019 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship.
The course seems to be set up perfect for tournaments, with a hired catering service on hand, they promote the anyone can throw a tournament, we'll set it up for you, just come down and play. I wonder how much the service costs because it looks like they go above and beyond.
Golf Digest Magazine ranked Monarch Dunes third among “America’s Best New Courses” in years past, the only California based course to make the magazine’s annual list, which features the 10 best new public access courses.
