Howdy sir molometer! a 6,000 year old tree? I didn't know trees could grow that old! Do you know what is causing the decline in the number of sparrows?
The tree has been carbon dated to 4,000 BC making it one of the oldest trees in the world. For the sparrow question see above quoted research.
