The Tree of Life
Coconut tree is all over the Philippines as we may call it "The Tree of Life" for as every part of the tree is very usefull. It can be used from roots up to its leaves.
Here are some example of its use:
Coconut oil - is use as a natural remedies for various ailments.
Roots - for dyes and toothbrush.
Coconut Leaves - for roofing,brooms,bags,material for houses,blankets,toothpicks and can be used for satay skewers out of the ribs on the leaves.
Coconut Trunk - used to timber to make houses and boats,bridge building and furnitures.
Coconut meat - can get coconut milk out of it for chicken cury and for desserts like coconuts sweet.
Theres no part goes to the waste as of every part has or had a use making it worthy of the title the tree of life .
