Travel Tip: Sychrov Chateau, unique blend of architectural styles

Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I will show you another architectural masterpiece of the country, the famous chateau of Sychrov.

Located in the northern part of the country, some 16 km (10 mi) outside the city of Liberec, the Sychrov Chateau is a large chateau complex that is known for a number of features from different architectural styles.
Originally, a Gothic fortress was standing at the site of the chateau. However, the fortress was completely destroyed in a war and it was later turned into a Baroque chateau. The chateau was then reconstructed in the Classicistic style and, eventually, between 1847 and 1862, the noble Rohan family had it transformed into its current appearance of an opulent Gothic Revival chateau. In the 1920s, some functionalist features were also added to the chateau.
Open to public since 1950, the chateau hosts extensive collections of artworks, paintings, decorated glassware and much more. The park is surrounded by impressive, well-maintained parks that are home to trained birds of prey such as falcons, eagles and buzzards that perform tricks for visitors.

Listed as a National Cultural Monument since 1995, the Sychrov Chateau has also appeared in many movies, including some of the most popular Czech fairy tales or the 2013 Russian movie The Three Musketeers.

Hello @czechglobalhosts, Sychrov Chateau is very impressive place to every passengers I believe. Why I telling that? There are so many different architectural styles indeed. Also oldest artworks & drawings valuable to see visitors much. Lot of tourist attraction tricks arrived from the authority. It's great.
