Travel Photo Contest, Edition #3 - Black and White - Rio de Janeiro

Visiting Brazil was a dream that we had for a long time and nothing better than start by visiting Rio de Janeiro! :)
It was in March 2017, the Carnival had already passed and we picked up a refurbished brazil that regained energy after the biggest party of the year, and this reflected the wonderful and very peaceful two weeks we lived there!
With all the wonderful photos I took, this one touched me for its simplicity and harsh local reality, because despite being a beautiful city with countless resources and worldwide known, it sharply contrasts with it's social inequalities.

This is a truely amazing photo, like you said it really captures the reality of certain peoples lives in Brazil. Looks awesome in black and white as well!
