You know what's funny? Norwegian friends are complaining that spring came too early this year. THIS is their spring :))) I guess with this climate I will have many more opportunities to make some short snowy walk ;)

I've been to Norway, many years ago for a friend's first wedding. It was at his Dad's golf club I believe. It was completely covered in snow and I wondered whether there's any point to having Golf Clubs where it's mostly snowing.

They claim these temperatures are typical for late April or early May. At work, we’re already putting tables outside (the hotel’s restaurant) so people can eat dinner on the terrace

I’m planning to stick around here for a couple of years, get better at the language, and then use my Norwegian skills to land something with better pay.
Honestly, I don’t see myself moving to another country again. Over the last 10 years, I’ve lived in Poland, Chile, Argentina, Cyprus, and now here. Moving all the time is exhausting. Plus, I really need to settle down somewhere and finally start saving for retirement.

Nah, you don't need to do that. You're living my dream. I've always wanted to travel around and spend a couple of years in each country - learning the language and the culture before upping sticks and doing it all over again. It sounds amazing!
