🔎Travel Advice - Weekly Round-Up #45

in #travelfeed5 years ago

Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed Travel Advice roundup brought to you by @for91days.

The beginning of a new year is a great time to look back on your travels, and this is exactly what some of our users have done. The first article in this weekly round-up of travel advice talks about how, after enough years on the road, the road can become your home. Next, we take a walk down memory lane, with a year of experiences told via selfies. And the last article is more about traveling in general, getting a taste of life as a digital nomad, and pondering how to best organize your schedule while being on the road.

2018 - A Year on The Road, trying to Find a Home
written by @frejafri

We (being me, my partner, our son, my brother Balder and his girlfriend Ida) then continued in our campervan down through Europe, through Belgium and France, into Paris, where we parted way with Ida and Balder, who jumped on a plane back to Denmark.

Looking Back at 2018: A Year of Adventures Told by Selfies.
written by @seangold

2018 has been quite a year, I've had some amazing adventures, got to experience some amazing places I didn't expect to, made some amazing friends along the way, and sadly had to say goodbye far too soon to some as well in 2018. It's been a year of some remarkable gains, but also of some significant loss.

Another day, another train

On the other hand, is this even that crazy? It always feels to me that because in Europe the distances are so small and all countries are so close by each other, it feels like we are travelling a world journey. While for instance in the States these kinds of distances are almost part of the daily travel to work. So what am I complaining about?
