First up is an adventurous hike up Table Mountain in Cape Town, where you'll find the Blood Lake. Intrigued? How could you not be?! The next article takes us to Zaouiat Cheikh in Morocco, a peaceful spot where the author spent the last day of his annual vacation. And for our last article, we're returning to Cape Town and visiting Kalk Bay, which according to the author, might just be the perfect place to retire.

Table Mountain has numerous hiking trails that range in difficulty. Skeleton Gorge was one of the more adventurous routes. The main reason for that was the stream water running down and the resultant slippery rocks along the way. Needless to say that good hiking shoes are a must!

The name Kalk Bay rises from the Dutch/Afrikaans name Kalkbaai which translates to Lime Bay in English. The reason behind this name is that the early settlers were using the mussel shells by burning them.
