We've tried making the holes ourselves, but usually end up breaking the shell. It just shows how efficient those snails are!

She didn't want to risk getting sand in it on the beach and then wasn't sure which lens she wanted. So it didn't come out until after lunch. I thought she want going to bring it out at all at one point!
