Unique view of Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks - Einzigartige Aussicht auf den Bodensee und 240 Alpengipfel [EN/DE]

A few days ago I told you about my start in the climbing session near Bregenz. After climbing last weekend, I made a short hike to the local mountain of Bregenz, the Pfänder. I would like to tell you a few impressions today. 🌅
The 1062m altitude Pfänder lies at the eastern end of Lake Constance and belongs to the Allgäu Alps. It is considered the local mountain of Bregenz because it is located directly above the city, although a large part of the mountain lies in the area Lochau. ☀
Vor ein paar Tage habe ich euch von meinem Start in die Klettersteig Session bei Bregenz berichtet. Nach der Kletterei letztes Wochenende machte ich dann noch eine kleine Wanderung auf den Hausberg von Bregenz, dem Pfänder. Davon möchte ich euch heute ein paar Eindrücke schildern. 🌅
Der 1062m Höhe Pfänder liegt am Ostende des Bodensees und gehört zu den Allgäuer Alpen. Er gilt als Hausberg von Bregenz, da er unmittelbar über der Stadt liegt, obwohl ein Großteil des Berges auf dem Gebiet Lochau liegt. ☀
On the Pfänder you have a breathtaking view of Lake Constance and from here you can look at 240 Alpine peaks in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Depending on the starting point of the hike, it takes about an hour on foot, but you can also take the cable car or the car to the Pfänder. For this reason, it is also the most famous vantage point in the region and therefore very busy. For families and children, the local mountain also has a large playground with bungee trampoline, slide, climbing frames and much more. Also, a large alpine wildlife park with many native wild animals was built up here. 🐗 🐹 🌄
Auf dem Pfänder hat man eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf den Bodensee und kann von hier aus auf 240 Alpengipfel Österreichs, Deutschlands und der Schweiz blicken. Zu Fuß braucht man je nach Startpunkt der Wanderung ca. eine Stunde, man kann jedoch auch mit der Seilbahn oder mit dem Auto auf den Pfänder fahren. Aus diesem Grund ist es auch der berühmteste Aussichtspunkt in der Region und deswegen auch sehr frequentiert. Für Familien und Kinder bietet der Hausberg auch einen großen Spielplatz mit Bungee-Trampolin, Rutsche, Klettergerüsten und vielem mehr. Auch ein großer Alpenwildpark mit vielen heimischen Wildtieren wurde hier oben errichtet. 🐗 🐹 🌄

Those who prefer a quieter pace should move up here away from the tourist streams... 😉
Personally, I've been trying to ignore the Segway riders with sandals and white tennis socks going from lookout to lookout to take quick selfies with their selfie sticks. 😂
A little later I found a nice, quiet place where I could enjoy the beautiful view and peace. 👍😊

Wer es lieber etwas ruhiger möchte, sollte sich hier oben abseits der Touristen-Ströme bewegen… 😉
Ich persönlich habe versucht die Segway Fahrer mit Sandalen und weißen Tennis Socken zu ignorieren, die von Aussichtspunkt zu Aussichtspunkt gefahren sind um schnelle Selfies mit ihren Selfie-Sticks zu machen. 😂
Etwas später hatte ich dann ein schönes, ruhiges Plätzchen gefunden, wo ich die wunderschöne Aussicht und Ruhe genießen konnte. 👍😊Ich hoffe euch haben die Eindrücke von meinem kleinen Ausflug zum Pfänder am Bodensee gefallen.

Nein, ich wohne (leider) ganz weit weg - im hohen Norden. Aber ich bin schon ganz oft in Süddeutschland gewesen (diverse Ecken) aber gerade am Bodensee und im Alpenvorland hat es mir immer besonders gut gefallen. Ich liebe das Meer aber auch die Berge. Viele Grüße von der Ostsee :)

I think the location is great also for someone who prefer to avoid the pollution around the urban agglomeration not only quieter pace :) I like your photos but my favorite is the third one below the map source with that breathtaking view :)

The view is indeed breathtaking! Nice to have a cable car option because I can sometimes be lazy. Although with the view like that, I'll be motivated for a hike. :)
