Bago is a highly urbanize city in Negros Occidental 15-20 minutes away from the capital city " The Bacolod "
The city is also a gateway to the south going to the consecutive cities and municipalities. Each place in Negros have their own pride to be proud of. Which includes landmarks, historical structures, food, assorted products, resorts, museum, and
forest park.
Every year there are new discovered places like this Sunflower Farm in Bago City owned by a Japanese national. Where the purpose of having this vast field of sunflowers is to get the oil and seeds for their business. The farm is free to be visited by anyone for those who want's to take picture and promote the place. Lastly, No entrance fee are collected from visitors, but there are some restrictions and certain regulations to be followed to protect the sunflowers.

The sad thing about this place, there are rumors that the farm is going to close and will no longer be available for public visiting. Because of the instances that some flowers are destroyed and the owner felt bad about it.

What I can suggest if the rumor is not true, there should be policies or rules that needs to be implemented strictly.

• penalty for those people who will be caught touching the plant
• limit the number of people to reduce traffic volume
• strictly no food allowed
• strictly no wearing of big back packs
• perimeter clearance policy
• time limit ( 1 hour policy ) based on the log book ( succeeding overtime will be charge )

The following policies is not to take advantage the visitors or to gain profit from guests. This is for strict compliance to preserved and protect the sunflower from any sign of abuse.

Take nothing but pictures, kill nothing but time
leave nothing but footprint, bring nothing but memories.
