Travel Pro Places of Interest #60: LARAC Festival! Glens Falls New York! Part Eight (15 photos)

Hey there my Steemit friends! In this Travel Pro Places of Interest Series we focus on specific places of interest for a given location. This may come in the form of parks, museums, beaches, cathedrals, and much more. Always an interesting series and always informative!

These sets of photos were recently taken in Glens Falls New York at the LARAC Festival. LARAC stands for Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council. This part of New York State is in the Adirondack Mountains, a world a way from the big apple and just a few miles from the heavily touristed Lake George Area.

People come to this part of New York to get out of the states capital city of Albany New York. Outdoor activities like camping, fishing, and hiking reign supreme in these parts; and many of the arts and crafts sold here reflect the local agriculture and natural beauty of the Adirondacks.

I was fortunate enough to stay with my cousin for a few weeks who lives right in the heart of Down Town Glens Falls and the festival was literally outside of her door step. We really enjoyed the festival and my cousin, pregnant at the time may even appear in a photo or two. However, the goal in mind was to capture Small Town America at it's best during the LARAC festival in Up-State New York!
