Further Deep into the Tsaritsynskiy Park, in Moscow (Russia)

in #travellast year

Here's the continuation of my post from yesterday, Taking a Stroll Across the Tsaritsynskiy Park, in Moscow.

I'll start with a photo at the beginning of the park, where there's a simple but cute children's playground...

This is where I saw a retired lady, enjoying the swing.

After this intro, I will share the photos taken further deep into the park, where I had concluded yesterday's post.

From this point, most of the lake was frozen already.

However, the Winter was just beginning, the ice was very thin. It looked kind of dangerous. I didn't risk getting too close to the shoreline. Better safe than sorry, right?

Admiring this view, there was older man, sitting comfortably at a bench. Not a bad way to pass the time.

Here are a couple more shots from the lake, from different points.

In the next shot, you probably can't see it unless you zoom in, there was a young couple by the shore.

I wondered what they were doing. I made use of the excellent feature of my camera to check it out.

The boy was approaching his girlfriend to assist her and prevent her from falling. She was trying to break up the ice with her boot.

She tried for a while, without success and after a while they both moved on.

I decided to do the same and walked the path by the shore a few more steps.

Here, the lake was narrower and appeared to be frozen solid.

A little further away I encountered a couple of fisherman. One was just arriving while the other was trying to catch dinner.

By the bridge there was a part of the lake which wasn't frozen. The man seemed quite confident that he would catch something there.

This is the edge of this wild side of the park. Afterwards, there was an exit that led back to the civilization. That's where I left this amazing place. I hope I can return one day to see it in the Summer.

I hope you have enjoyed these photos. Don't be afraid to comment.

I would mever have guessed this beautiful place so close to civilization. I enjoyed you GIFs and scenery!

Thank you!

Thank you very much, @dswigle! It's a very relaxed place and a huge green area right next to the city!

What a beautiful post... I love how you explained each point of the park and activities. Love those GIF's which explained a lot... I must say you have enjoyed visiting this park so much. In Ukraine we have park also... You should visit... :D :D ... i love each and every story of this post...

Thanks for your visit. Interesting how you make more advertising to where you live now than to your own hometown. 😃

What's up with that? Are you becoming a Ukrainian?

Well, In Bangladesh we don't have this kind of parks... I refer those places which are really great to visit.... hehehe... i am not becoming Ukrainian... :P :P as you have visited Moscow so thought you can come to Ukraine... :D :D :D

This is what I love about parks abroad. Apart as functioning as a place to play, work out or just spend idle time, they do have this thriving ecosytem in them. I love your pictures!

Thanks for your visit and support, @nurseanne84! 😃

I don’t know why but I thought you were gonna say “ and the girl fell in and the dude after her “ lol ( to much memes got me thinking like that )

Nah, but if she were alone, I think she could have messed up. She was kind of careless.

What a lovely spot for a walk. And I love the nice walkway. I saw a post by someone else in a Moscow park at another time and it also had such a nice path. The Russians do things right to make it easy for use to use the facility.

Great catches of the ice forming. I can feel it from here in Malaysia :)

I'm glad you've liked it! Thanks for your visit!

Dear friend I would love to be shown around beautiful Moscow

Offcourse and i was talking to my husband going to russia and read your blog! Coincedence

Hahaha it's kinda cute that people including you are trying to break the ice. But it's dangerous, no?
I've never seen a frozen lake with my own eyes... must be very cold.

Have you tried swinging recently? It's amazing how much muscle it takes - it's really a great workout!

Interesting photos, @trincowski
