Lake Titikaka 3810 m altitude and old population living on floating islands

The boats are made from reeds by the locals that live on fishing and tourism.

No wifi here but connection is granted

The process of making a new island last about one year but is a must to, as no more than 5 families can live on one.

The port is cute and colourful. They sang us in their language and spanish, french and english.

The kid is about 3 and is going to the local floating kindergarten.

This is the head of that small family island that is show us how the island is built. Takes one year and a lot of effort.
