Journey to the Middle Ages

in #travel6 years ago

Old Town Square halfway between Wenceslas Square and Charles Bridge, you need to walk to it. Through narrow streets with numerous shops, admiring the unique architecture of Prague. The square itself literally deafens its uniqueness and beauty. You can contemplate for a long time every house, not like the other, admiring the Cathedral of Tyn, the church of St. Nicholas, the Tower with the Astronomical Clock, everything literally breathes past centuries. In the center is a monument to the rebellious Jan Hus. Almost every day on the square, street musicians arrange concerts, they can be listened to right on the pavement in the company of the same tourists. A charter, sit in one of the cafes with a wonderful Czech beer and watch life around. The main thing in the square is of course the Tower, for her sake come here. It is necessary to listen to the battle of the clock, to be present at the exit of the apostles and evaluate the game of the trumpeter, informing on four sides of the world, that one more hour of life has passed. Behind this action is observed by a large crowd, so a convenient place should be taken in advance. And then go up to the Tower itself. Tickets can be bought on the spot and do not be scared by the turn-she moves fast. And from a height of 70 m a beautiful view of Prague - both Old and New - opens. You can endlessly admire the bizarre intertwining of elegant Prague roofs, watch the endless stream of people, take a new look at the cathedral and church. and go down to earth. Near the Tower of the City Hall and if you're lucky, you can see the happy newlyweds, who do not interfere with the numerous tourists, and become a bit happier themselves. And at last to have a bite in tent the tasty meat which is fried directly here on a spit. The Old Town Square has its own, but it will not leave anyone indifferent.

The area is very beautiful, but there are always a lot of tourists on it. Of course, there is a special charm in this pandemonium, as if plunging into the atmosphere of an old shopping area, with all its noise. But you can not make beautiful photos of the panorama, not hurrying to approach each interesting object, too. Therefore, I recommend to come here by 8 am: people will not be much, but without haste you will get to walk and see the famous Orloi watches without tourists (they arrange the performance every day from 8 to 20).
