[Bali 2018] - Volcano Climb
For the last few years I have been visiting Bali and Lombok for work related purposes and for some adventure.
Mt Batur is a volcano in central to nth Bali and it is a challenging climb for anyone who has not done it before.
I do recommend being prepared and get a guide if unsure of where to go.
This year we ventured up on the Indonesian Independence Day which is always great due to the atmosphere.
The sunrise is the greatest reward after a strenuous climb and make sure you have some warm clothing as it does get cold once you stop walking.
We arrived at the top around 4.30am and the sunrise was just after 6am.
We may have ventured up the hill a little early however we hung out and enjoyed the view and the build up to the sunrise.

Yes I did see the fail. :) sort of makes the photo next level cool though. It took us 90 minutes to climb. Depending on the day and who you are with it will take a little longer.
It must be a nice journey. I saw some photos of this journey of yours in the post of @tinanikolovski.
It was a great climb. Everyone should do it for the sunrise. Pick the right day. Amazing experience. Hard work but worth it.
