Kandhamal District,Odisha is at a distance of 45 KM from Phulbani and has nice Vergin Waterfall & Picnic spot, known for its Scenic Beauty & Tribal tourism.
You can reach there by Private Car and the best time to visit is throughout the year. If you go by bus, then the nearest Bust stop is Katringia and if you plan to go by train, then the nearest railway stop is Berahampur.
About : You can call the fish to your hand inside the hilly Phulbani Forest Division. You may not be agree with us but you can only feel it when you visit Katramal, just 17 km from Katringia and 45 kilometer from Phulbani. In Katramal , water falls from a height of nearly 100 ft. It is considered as the highest waterfall of the district. But you‘ll find very cool and calm water beneath the water fall, where beautiful fishes are enjoying their life without any harm. You will also debarred from this due to the protective attitude of the locales.
It is seemed like a seventh heaven on the outskirts of this tribal belt. The forest department has made a watch tower to get a full view of this place. but you have to approach it by a hanging bridge, quite interesting. So plan a tour today.
