The Van Gogh Museum and Vondelpark, Amsterdam
Van Gogh Museum is one of the most popular and visited places in the capital of the Netherlands – Amsterdam.
Until 1973-before the opening of the Museum, the paintings were kept by his nephew, who owns the idea of creating a Museum and its implementation.
There are not so many paintings in the Museum, I expected that there will be more.
Near the Museum is the Vondel Park. We had a wonderful walk in it and had a rest after the Museum!
The Park is the largest in the whole city, so it is also considered the most popular in the Netherlands.
This is not an ordinary Park, but a small separate world, located in the very periphery of Amsterdam.
Who travels on roller skates or a Bicycle, who makes a run in the Park, who started a picnic with friends, and there are those who just walk and admire nature. But the most important attraction of the Park are its beautiful scenery.
In Vondelpark there are a lot of red chestnuts, birches, amazing beauty of the trees, which are called catalpas, and a large number of shrubs with different herbs. In the Park there are birds here can be seen wild ducks and swans, and even great blue herons.
