Hi folks,
did you know that more people are walking through Grand Central Station than trains riding through? In fact, no train ever went straight through, as Grand Central, the largest train station on earth, is a terminal station.
Between 750.000 and 1.000.000 people walk in and out the station daily! More than 90 % of them are students.
It is a really beautiful railway station and really really huge! There are 10 chandeliers with 110 bulbs each!
You can even play tennis in the fourth floor of the building, if you pay the really high fee of 90-260 $, depending on time.
The ceiling is decorated with an enormous astrology painting.
You would think the Grand Central Station is only a train station, as I did before visiting, but it really is so impressive! I am not a fan of trains or something, but I adore old, huge buildings which last for centuries!
