Nomad in Nonthaburi - Bangkok, Thailand

in #travel7 years ago

Visit Nonthaburi for the first time last year. The place is quieter compare to Bangkok, but street food is as good as Bangkok’s. People are also friendly even though, not all of them speak English.

Sunset in Nonthaburi is amazing! This happened when I was just walking back from Big C (supermarket) to the apartment where I stayed. No filter needed!!

This is a library in the apartment buiding where I stayed. Books are all in Thai, but I was able to do my work from here, as there is aircon and free wifi at the premises.

Left: Rooftop pool view from the sky lounge area. Right: Enjoying my Thai whisky on sunset.

Favourite co-working space, The Hive ThongLor. It has few areas which we can work indoor or outdoor. Also a massage parlour after long hours of work!

Left: Street view from the bridge. Right: The fanciest Starbucks in ThongLor area. It has free wifi and very cozy. However, place is getting crowded after lunch. If you need to be extra focus on doing your work, I suggest to go The Hive instead. As the building is only opposite each other :)

Last but not least, a photo of a very weird "incubator" working space at True Coffee, Emporium, Bangkok. Their coffee is good, but wifi is only for about 30 minutes. If you need to work longer than 30 minutes, I suggest you go to some other True coffee branches.

If you need to work with internet, but don't want to pay more for co-working membership, I suggest to go to Starbucks at Central Rama IX. The internet speed was pretty good and available to use for 19 hours :)

How's the Thai Whisky taste straight from the bottle?

It was awesome! Even though it wasn't a good idea to drink before swim :D
