RE: The most haunted place in Indiana.

in #travel5 years ago

Hahahaha! I have never lied in an old building that could potentially have that sort of history. My house is ten years old and makes its own groans and moans, but they are easily explained away.

You re right, we program our minds to play tricks on us based on our individual willingness to believe. The higher your belief, the more likely you are to have strange unexplained experiences.

As an owner, calling a place haunted is a bit of a mixed bag. You get those horror seekers, but you also wind up with people who refuse to come because of their base fear.

This place really keeps their look of the 1800's alive. There is an old ballroom that I wandered down through at 10:30 at night and there was not another person to be found. It is part of the original building and looks very 1800's eccentric. But I didn't get any sort of weird feeling off of it. Of course it was well lit, so that probably helped.
