Norte in Chelem, Yucatan, Mexico in November of 2018. Sustained winds of 25 to 30 mph with gusts above 35 mph for over 24 hours. The is the view down Calle 15 which runs parallel with the beach. The houses along the beach buffer the winds along this street to some extent.

Hardly. Wind chill doesn't really seem to be talked about here. It was cool enough to get the locals into long pants and jackets while I still wore shorts and short sleeve shirts.
Please just avoid the sweatshirt, socks and shorts style that seems to be popular here! It is their toxic masculinity showing I do believe.
