The last and final day of this wonderful trip. I got to see the carnival festivities in two Greek cities and I am really grateful for that. How better to end it than with some beautiful landscapes, some museums and the relaxing atmosphere of this country.

Here we are still in Ioannina. We've went to the Museum of Silverware and got surprised by the most amazing mountain views. I was sitting still, just admiring how nature could have created all of this.

I am sure that, when summer comes, those trees will have the most beautiful green leaves. It's such a nice walk around the old stone walls.

I even got to meet one of the local residents, a very playful duck that kept going underneath the water and then coming back up at a different spot. I spent at least 5 minutes following it around to get a photo :))

Going into the Ioannina Castle we were faced with a grand entrance, with the same stony walls I was talking about before and with quite a medieval atmosphere.

The museum is just beautiful, both from the outside and from the inside. If you've ever got the chance you must try it. The process of creating silverware and using it in all manners is very well explained, and at the end you get to see some really amazing exhibits.

There was also another building nearby which we didn't get to visit, but we surely must go another time. I think it was the Byzantium museum, but I can't say for sure.

Later on we went to the Wax Museum of Ioannina. We couldn't believe it was made by a single sculptor!! He bought the land, built the house and created wax sculptures so that he could tell the history of Greece from the revolution until the Second World War.

We couldn't take photos inside, but I have to tell you that it was unexpected. The house is like a cave, with the scenes from history carefully placed in its walls, going up and down and around. It's marvelous how he decided to tell those stories. I recommend it with all my heart.

And the view from the same place was just as amazing. It feels like a blessing to be able to witness such beauty.

After that we had to go back to Thessaloniki. We went on the main road and so we managed to get a look at many more landscapes, some of which were absolutely breathtaking.

To make this day as wonderful as possible, I have to share with you the sun rays glowing through the clouds.

I can't wait for the next journey I'll take through the fantastic Greece. I hope you have enjoyed it as well :) I'll make sure to keep posting my experiences from this place. I'll see you soon with some new photos, drawings or anything that I find relevant :)

And as always, have a great day, friends!
