Happiness is Music Festivals and Travel, Preferably Both at the Same Time
Greetings! I'm Michelle, and I go by the moniker mediaChick.
I fulfill my lust for travel and Nordic music by attending music festivals in the US and Northern Europe for Nordic Spotlight as press taking photos, writing articles about the shows I see, and making new friends from all over the world. Nordic Spotlight is also a travel agency, so I get to help people plan unforgettable experiences abroad.
When not traveling, I'm at home in Oregon watching Korean dramas, making pies for my family (I won the blue ribbon at the State Fair a few years ago!) and drinking craft beers at my neighborhood pub.

Welcome to Steemit! I hope you post about your past experiences at music festivals. I went to Wakarusa in the US for almost 6 years in a row, and I've been to Harvest Fest, Electric Forest, and Burning Man. I love festivals!

Welcome to Steemit. Music and Travel is a GREAT combination. In Netherlands we have so many music festivals, the travel bit is mostly quite short, but I do love to go to others places as well to get to local music vibes :)

Heard about the Iceland Airwave festival. Some years ago, I even had the plan to visit last notice, but somehow it didn't happen. Which you like the most? Have you been to festivals in Netherlands?
I have only been to the International Puppet Convention that's held occasionally in different parts of the world when it was in Dordrecht. My favorite in N. Europe ... that's tough. Probably Oya because Oslo terrain is similar to the Pacific NW where I live: lots of evergreens, hills, and waterways. Being there is like being home, but not.
