Travel Girl: Getting Around in Unknown Rural Northern Germany
Here's the original outdoor and travel chick again, this time exploring the windy Baltic Sea coast in the Kiel area and much more in Schleswig-Holstein and northwestern Germany. This is a largely unknown part of the country, missed by almost all visitors to Germany remaining ignorant of its similarity to East Anglia and the Lowlands in the U. K. and of what that country really is made of. Travelling is at its best when it's not part of some "package" pushe on you by an ignorant travel agent who's never been out of town :) Self-directed travel is the way to go. Follow this story and see how it goes. You may even get a different angle or some extra insights into the places covered here.
Very interesting to see and read about the less traveled places.
