Unusual traveling#2 Being invited by Iranian friends in Iran🇮🇷🇮🇷

Iranians are extremely hospitable to foreign tourists. When we were traveling in Iran, there were always locals who came to us and chat with us warmly, and even invite us to visit their homes. Probably also because there are few foreign tourists in Iran. Tourism is still not very developed, so people are enthusiastic for foreigners and have a natural friendliness.

My friend is a talented painter, she draws so amazing, but in Iran there are not many job opportunities, so she has to work in the kind clothes store. What a pity!

In Iran, there is a famous word which is “Taroof”, but there is no same word in English. When Iranians have a chat, they always start with small talk, but seems like concern you very much, such as “how is your family?”
Iranian are usually very generous, so their social etiquette also always being in this way. If you travel in Iran, whether you go shopping or go to a restaurant, you can always hear people say “Ghabel Nadare”, that means “I give to you,” or “It’s free, take it”. But don’t think they are serious, you should refuse twice, until third time if they still insist, you can take it. And if you are really serious want to give you something, they will say directly “no taroof”.

A famous Persian poet wrote that "a noble man knows how to take care of his guests", all Iranians still follow this creed. We went to our Iranian friends’ homes, and they were being very hospitable and generous. They gave us all the best what they have.
We have a very good friend in Iran, he drove us many places in Iran for two weeks. When we sent him message that we were in Tehran, at the same day he drove whole night picked us up in Tehran and took us to his friend's holiday apartment in North Iran. And we visited many friends of him, they all invited us. We felt so appreciate how good they are.

伊朗人对待外国游客非常热情，在伊朗旅行时，常常都会遇到当地人很热情的跟我们搭讪合影，甚至还会邀请我们去他们家里做客。因为伊朗外国游客不多，所以完全没有商业化，很多人对外国人的热情仅仅是出于天然的友好，没有任何目的性。

伊朗人民在社交生活中很喜欢客套，就是伊朗人常说的Tarof，这个单词好像没有类似的英文单词。他们的社交礼节跟国内非常像，通常两人交谈或打电话前几分钟听不到正文，内容多为“你父母怎样”，“你夫人和孩子身体好吗”，“我很想念你”等等。在伊朗一路上无论吃饭还是购物，你会听到很多伊朗人说“Ghabel Nadare”，意思是“送给你”或“请随意拿走吧”，这时千万别直线思维以为伊朗人大方好客拿了就走。这其实也是伊朗社会的Tarof之一，是种礼貌而已。一般伊朗人如果真心想送你东西会直接说No Tarof，或者你拒绝两次，第三次如果对方还坚持，那就不再是客套了。

波斯一个著名的大诗人写过“一个高贵的人懂得如何照顾好他的客人” 而如今所有的伊朗人依然遵循着这样的信条。我们去伊朗人家里做客，他们都会热情款待，非常大方的拿出所有好酒好菜。我们在伊朗有个很好的朋友，他开车带我们在伊朗玩了两周，带我们去他的朋友家里，他的朋友宴请我们之后又带我们去另外的一个朋友家里，就这样被请了一圈。而且伊朗人民精力旺盛，总是非常亢奋，常常开派对到凌晨两三点。
