My long journey to Morocco — My first impression of Fes

Hello all my dear steemit friends, I want to share with you my long journey to Morocco with you.
I flew to Morocco this morning. Because I couldn’t find cheap flight from Zurich to Morocco, I bought a cheap flight ticket from Memmingen, a small German city between Zurich and Munich.

It was quite a Journey to finally reach Morocco. First of all, I had to take a train from the town I live to Zurich city center. It was 3am when my journey startet. From Zurich, a Flixbus took me to Memmingen, where I arrived at 7.30 am wfrom Zurich to Memmingen at 4am. So basicly I didn't really sleep a lot last night.

I often take Flixbus when I travel in Europe, not only because of its low price, but also because Flixbus has very good connections from Zurich to many places in Europe.

From Memmingen town, I shared the taxi with two other people who come from Montenegro and we went to the airport together.

After the airport security check, I put down my luggage and began to sleep on the seat of the airport. I was so tired.

At 11 I got on the plane, I almost slept all the way. And when I arrived in Fes, it was already afternoon. Me and some other tourists waited for more than two hours at the bus station, but the bus didn't come, so eventually we all went to town by shared taxi.

I heard a lot of stories that the Moroccan culture is not very friendly to women. Today, when I walked on the street in Fes, there were many stranger boys shouting loud to me "Ni Hao", "Chinese" "Japanese". But I just ignored them and tried to keep distance with them and walked on my own way.

Although Morocco is a relatively open Muslim country, there are still very few men and women who wear shorts. Therefore it's better also to dress like a local. Especially for girls it’s always better to avoid from the curious eyes.

The first impression of Morocco is very good. The old Bazaar is bustling, people are doing business, eating and wandering. The city looks full of live here and I'm looking forward to exploring more tomorrow.

我今天飞摩洛哥，由于从苏黎世直飞摩洛哥价格不便宜，所以我买的Ryanair的廉价航空机票，但是需要去德国小城市Memmingen乘坐飞机。
首先我要坐早上四点的从苏黎世到Memmingen的大巴。所以我凌晨三点多就要从我们家的火车站出发到苏黎世火车站。
我在欧洲旅行很多时候会乘坐Flixbus，不仅仅是因为价格便宜，更是因为Flixbus四通八达，在欧洲连接非常好。但唯一的缺点是发车时间总是在夜晚。
这一路非常的折腾，到了Memingen已经是早上七点半的样子了，我和两个来自黑山的朋友一起拼了一辆出租车，把我们拉到了飞机场。
到了飞机场安检结束之后，我放下行李就开始在机场的座椅上到下睡觉了，实在是太困了。
坐上飞机之后我几乎睡了一路，抵达菲斯已经是下午了。我和其他一些游客在大巴车站等大巴等了有两个多小时哦，但大巴都迟迟不来，最后我们几个人都拼出租车一起进城了。

由于之前听说摩洛哥文化对女性并不是十分友好，初到摩洛哥走在街上，也经常有陌生人男生对我说“Ni Hao” “Chinese” “Japanese”. 这种就不要看他们径直往前走就好了。
由于我是独自出来旅行的，出于安全考虑，我的先生安迪会用iCloud跟踪我的行踪，以免我走失。所以我每到一个地点，他在电脑上都可以看到。这样我们两个人都会放心很多。
虽然摩洛哥是相对较开放的穆斯林国家，但当地人无论男女也很少有穿短裤的，所以作为游客还是穿长裤比较好。尤其是女生，也是为了避免遭受异样的目光。
菲斯给我的第一印象非常好，古老的Bazaar烟火沸腾，很有生活气息，小巷错综交织，到处都散发着食物的香味。
