My visit to Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, India 📷
A trip to Hyderabad had been pending for quite sometime, finally got the chance couple of months back. Hyderabad is one of the famous city in India, well known for its history and IT.
We visited many places in Hyderabad. In this post, I'll share the experience of visiting Ramoji Film City.
2 things which is close to Indians are Cricket and Cinema(Movies). Ramoji Film City is a must-visit place in Hyderabad. It is certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest Film Studio complex. You need a complete day to explore it. In a given day, there are hundreds of visitors and it surges during weekends and holidays.

Entry
The entry to the film city wears a majestic look. The ticket counters are colourful, many movie posters are stuck on the wall. Everyone feel excited and thrilled about being there. All the private vehicles must be parked near the ticket counter and people will be taken inside the film city though buses. Vintage buses really add charm to the whole place.
Joy Rides
There are many joy rides available for kids and adults.
Fundustan - Fun park for kids
Studio
Popular TV series was shot in this studio. Some of the sets are put on display.
An artificial railway station & train is also available. Many movies were shot in this particular location.
An Airport is also set in this film studio. Famous airport fight scene from Ra One (starring Shahrukh Khan) was filmed here.

Movie Magic
Movie magic is another section in the Ramoji Film City studio complex.
Birds Park
You definitely need time and patience to go through birds park. It is really worthy. Clean and well maintained, many foreign birds are available here.
Mughal Garden
How to reach Ramoji Film City
It is located outside the city, well connected by road. Hire a cab(Uber/Ola are available in Hyderabad), you can easily get cab while returning back too.

From Charminar: 32km
From Kachigude railway station: 33km
From Hyderabad Airport: 40km
Best route is to take Nehru outer ring road.

You can also plan to stay for the night, many hotels & packages are provided within the Film City.
