Happy Friday! If you follow me, you probably know I love exploring the city I travel to or I live in :P Today I would like to explore a secret spot in Los Angeles with you, The Secret Swing in Elysian Park.

I discovered this place from a travel blog, and I bookmarked this place, put it in my bucket list. To get to the Secret Swing, you have to hike up a short but steep slippery trail which takes around 10 minutes. As there is no clear markings on the trail which makes it difficult to find, it takes me an hour to find the exact location of this place.

這個地方是我從一位旅遊博客的介紹得知，看到後當然馬上把它加到想去的清單裏。跟著GPS，我們開到山腳下，把車子停好後，由於在地圖上沒有明確的路線圖，我們用了差不多半個小時才找那條爬山徑。

From the map, you can see there is a location called the hidden swing which is not a correct location pin.

在地圖上，您可以看到有一個地點—The Hidden Swing，我原本依為這就是鞦韆的正確位置，用了15分鐘爬上那個山頭，結果什麼都沒有。（那個地標是不正確的，大家不要像我一樣一被誤導喔。）

Just when I thought that the location didn't exist after climbing up and down from a few trails, we saw the tree and the broken rope. Unfortunately the rope that tied the swing had already been cut and the swing was gone. I guess some people cut the rope for some reasons or it was broken because too many people sat on it. But we still managed to take some beautiful photos with the colorful painted tree and enjoy the beautiful view up here.

在有點失望的時候，我們決定再爬另一條小徑，爬了大概5分鐘，看到了畫上塗鴉的樹，知道這就是我們要去的地點。到達山上后，發現綁住鞦韆的繩子已經被切斷，鞦韆的板子已經沒有了。我想可能是因為某些安全原因，有人把繩索切斷吧，又或者是因為太多人坐在上面，有磨損所以斷掉吧。雖然沒法坐在鞦韆上拍很酷的照片，不過山上的景色很不錯。左邊是川流不息的高速公路，而右邊有一排排整齊的小房子。
