JAILBREAK: Cruise the Town with Me

I had to check with the cops about my visa situation. They said that under the circumstances that it was all good, so I went for a cruise around Luang Prabang. The few people on the road were looking at me like I was crazy standing in the middle of the road taking a picture of beer and not wearing my mask.

I figured as long as I'm breaking all the rules, I might as well park on the sidewalk. There wasn't anybody around anyways.

My boss called me and said that I better not be smoking weed with my white friends. She was afraid of Chinese, now it's all white people. I told her that I went to the temple and she was cool with that. The only problem is it was locked. All parks and temples were closed. That didn't stop Mr. Rulebreaker.

It was so bright that I wasn't sure if this stupa shot would come out OK, but the sun was to my back and I held the phone as steady as I could despite the blinding light.

I got my instant karma. It was really hard to get off the sidewalk. I'm so used to doing whatever I want on bicycles that I forgot motorbikes are heavy and you can't just pick them up. I eventually made it past the trees without falling down the ditch.

National Museum is just a nice way of saying they killed the King and stole his house in the 1975 Communist revolution.

It was closed too, but I'm tall and on a rule breaking rampage. I got this shot by setting the countdown timer to ten seconds while I steadily held the phone over the wall.

This stupa was built while Abraham Lincoln was trying to preserve the Union.

If you ever come to Luang Prabang and get lost, just look up for the Phou Si stupa on top of the "mountain". It can be seen all around town and can help you with your location if you don't have cellular data.

It's time for us to give this stray dog her first bath and remove the tics. I was going to name her, David, but she's a girl. What do you think would be a good name?
