Come, Visit South Goa - The La-La Land

South Goa is one of the districts of Goa, located on the western coast of India. It's famous for it's beautiful, mesmerizing beach and for the variety of drinks available at the cheapest rate. It still exhibits the cultural influence of the Portuguese, who first landed in the early 16th century as merchants and conquered it soon thereafter. It's one of the most sought after tourist spots in India and attracts a lot of foreigners who usually spend months at a stretch here.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, far away from the traffic and hustle-bustle of the city, then this place is your answer. The greenery, the empty wide roads with trees on either sides, the awesome and vast variety of sea-food, the clean sea water and the weather will leave you wanting for more.

Listing down some of the things to do here :

* Watch the sunset at Benaulim Beach : One of the cleanest beaches of Goa with minimal crowd.

* Take a sunbath at Palolem Beach : Usually a little crowded but it has it's reason. Some of the best shacks offering mouth-watering food and live music with a sea-facing table will be at your service. Take a dip in the sea here or get a natural tan. Not to forget the stores outside selling beautiful gifts, clothes and accessories. And yeah, you can go kayaking as well!

* Enjoy a romantic candle-light dinner on the beach : Almost all the beaches here have shacks which are open past midnight as well. On request they will even place your table right by the waves!

* Go Parasailing At Mobor Beach : Some of the beaches here also offers activities like parasailing, banana boat and jet skiing. Don't miss out on them!

* Try the fresh sea-food/beer at the shacks : Who wouldn't enjoy a brunch which doesn't burn a hole in your pocket and still makes you feel like you are living in a paradise!

* Buy Souvenir to remember your trip and the place : Do pick up some of the hand-made jewellery or clothes for the tiny shops at the entrance of the beaches.

*Forget all your worries and enjoy the view : Take a sip of beer and sit by the water all day long!

It also has a few forts, museums , temples and churches. But since I only went there to relax, only beaches were on my list.
