A night in Bangkok at the Mercure Bangkok Makkasan Hotel

Hello dear followers,

This is the first Travel post I'm doing on Steemit. Please let me know if I should continue posting Travel posts and photos here on this blog by upvoting.

As my daughter went to her first French class at the "Alliance Francaise" in the center of Bangkok last Saturday, we took this opportunity to spend the night at the Mercure Bangkok Makkasan Hotel.

Our Room

The room we had was very nice, it was the Superior room with one king bed.

See a few photos here:

What do you think of this room? Very cool right?

The swimming pool

It is a small swimming pool on a roof with view of the train line going from center of Bangkok to the airport, Makkasan train station and city buildings.

You can see my wife and daughter on the photos.

The restaurant

We had a very light diner at the restaurant because we already ate just a few hours back when at the Central Chidlom, which is in the area.

They have a good menu, the food is excellent.

We had onion soup, caesar salad and duck with vegetables.

Thank you for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it.

Definitely keep doing more of these because I would like to see more of your adventures! I love the bathing suit your daughter is in because it and she are so adorable together! Nice doing the room, the address of the hotel, the restaurant, and the pool all in one post!

Thank you very much again @jerrybanfield for encouraging me doing more travel posts. I was wondering if I should post only tutorials and cryptocurrency articles. I have a wife who loves to travel within Thailand and plans everything so I just have to drive. I am now in Hua Hin, in another hotel and will be posting about it.

Keep 'em coming! I'm in BKK myself, so tips are welcome :)

Love your first travel blog post here Michel! I upvoted it 100% and am featuring it at the top of today's upvotable post!

Thank you very much @jerrybanfield for upvoting my travel post and featuring it.

@gmichelbkk , Looks like a beautiful hotel, with nice furnishings. And the pool area looked relaxing and seemed you had it all to yourselves, so that's a plus 😃

Thank you for commenting. We had a nice time in this hotel. Followed you.

Cheers @gmichelbkk! I'm sure it was enjoyable just by the looks of it. Would love to see more travel posts, especially Thailand related, you did a nice job on this one :) Followed you as well.

That pool looks beyond inspired Michael. Awesome views too. Whenever we lay over in BKK we usually stay in a nice hotel about 5 minutes from the Khao San Road area, away from the madness. But then we can walk for a few to get our 30 Baht fruit shakes, which are like drugs to us LOL. Love Thailand, love Bangkok. Our favorite country in the world.

Thank you very much @ryanbiddulph for commenting. I followed you.
