Hiking up to Croix du Vellan

Hiking up to the Croix du Vellan just above Plan de Baix in Southern France.

The view from the village shows the cross thorning on top of the rock formation. That's where you want to be for an amazing view over the countryside.

The hike up is already very scenic and shows nature's beautiful things in small and big.

If you have time and you start early in the day you'll see the frost on the meadows around. Yet very beautiful also from up close.
