Travel to the North. Ust-Pocha

Waking up the next day, slowly breakfasted and went to the visit-center. Our goal for this day was to get to the village of Glazovo, and there you can get there only by boat.

In the visit center we were explained how to get there: you need to get to the village of Ust-Pocha (22 km from Vershinino), and there we will be taken away by boat to several villages. At the same time in the visit-center agreed with an excursion to the chapel.

We gathered and went to Ust-Pocha. The road is the same as in the entire Kenozersky National Park - a good dirt.

The village of Ust-Pocha is located at the mouth of the Pocha river, in the north of Kenozero, or rather on Lake Pig (although it is not a separate lake, but part of Kenozero, but the name is different)

Once it was a timber-mining village.

And now people just live out their days, occasionally earning on tourists.

We called a woman who will conduct an excursion. We agreed to meet near the store.

The chapel is on the high bank of the lake. Sheep grazing under it.

In the chapel we were told about the history of the village, about the history of the chapel and, in general, the Orthodox life in these parts. And we also learned and saw with our own eyes what the "skies" is like.

Amazing!

Similar "skies" will still be in the village of Ryzhkovo. We will also go there later. In general, we are actually waiting for the boatman, who is about to bring a group of tourists from the villages, and then we will be go. And at this time, so that we do not get bored, they tell us about the chapel and show it.
And for this they did not take a penny from us!

But now the excursion is over - it was informative and interesting! Let's go to the boat.

The weather was frowning, a dark cloud hung.
