The Myakalsky bush. Pupyshevo

in #travel5 years ago

I will tell you about one bush, but not simple one. There are bushes of plant origin, but this bush is a group of villages located close to each other, united by a river or some other geographical element. Usually the bush has a name, but in the Veliky Ustyug district I have not seen this. A remote example is Kichuga, which consists of the village of Kichuga, the village of Upper Kichuga and the village of Lower Kichuga. Myakalsky bush I gave the name myself.

Myakolitsa - a small forest river that flows through a swampy forest to the south, receives numerous small rivers and streams from the surrounding marshes and flows into Sukhona. The river is a little over 40 km long. In this case, this river unites all the villages of the Myakalsky bush.

Pupyshevo

Getting to the villages of the Myakalsky bush is not at all difficult: a good asphalt road leads to the most accessible village of Pupyshevo.

In the village itself, of course, the roads are so-so, but in the autumn in all the villages a similar situation. Here you can still drive to the house.

The village is located along one street.

Houses are stands on a straight line.

The absence of fencing in many houses gives the village hospitality, friendliness, openness and, thereby, creates a cozy atmosphere.

Pupyshevo is located on the top of the hill, from where for many kilometers gorgeous views open up.

There is a spacious field near the village.

There are many roads goes in the field.

One would like to call this place "the navel of the earth"!

At the very edge of a high hill is an unfinished house. Someone wanted to live here with a gorgeous view from the window!

In Pupyshevo there are both permanent residents and cottagers who come only for the summer.

You can drive through the village and go back to the track in another place.

Near several houses there are many different Soviet equipment.

There is even a small lake.

From here I went in the summer to the Myakolitsa tract, which is located on the banks of the Sukhona River.

I am sure that in ancient times, the Myakalsky bush included more than a dozen villages that had long ceased to exist.

To be continued...
