Polutovo

in #travel5 years ago

Polutovo - a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region. Included in the Krasavino rural settlement. The distance to the district center Veliky Ustyug is 14 km.

Polutovo is located near the river bank of the Northern Dvina. The settlement is located in the floodplain part, and during floods it sometimes partially undermines.
There was once everything in the village, but in time there was little left.

Kindergarten closed a couple of years ago.

But the playground has recently been built.

It can be seen that there are very few children here, since the snow around the seesaw has not been completely cleaned. Someone still trying to get through...

Apartment buildings here are only three pieces.

And they are inhabited by 30%. The apartments is dilapidated and can not be restored, although this house looks quite decent.

Polutovo is surrounded by fields, but trees of different sizes are often found on the streets and in the courtyards.

After heavy snowfalls and blizzards, many streets became completely impassable.

Many sheds next to a two-story house are no longer used.

Yes, and in the house a maximum of two residential apartments.

And maybe one at all...

In the third apartment building is a post office.

In general, Polutovo looks something like this: abandoned houses are mixed with residential ones. The latter is still a little more.

Rarely there is such a feeling, but it was in this village that I was uncomfortable.

There are all reasons for coziness: ancient houses, narrow streets, the spirit of antiquity.

But a large number of barking dogs does not relax. They are almost in every homeyard. There are who on a leash, but there are without it.

Old well-crane.

Northern etude.

At one time, agriculture was well developed in Polutovo and there were many barnyards.

There are still working farms to this day, but not in the same amount as before.

And here is the old Polutovo. The road ends and rests against the fence of someone's home. How to go further to the other houses I did not find.

Polutovo left a double impression. If it were not for the dogs and the absence of the road to the old village, then everything would be much better.

Polutovo is a half of that.
