Kuznetsovo

Kuznetsovo is a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region, which is located near the Aristovo Shemogodsky rural settlement.
The village stands right behind the ravine, which is the border between the two settlements. Just like Aristovo, Kuznetsovo is located on a steep high bank of the Northern Dvina River.

From historical data: "In a ravine on the right slope of the valley of the Northern Dvina River, 1 km upstream from Aristovo (between the villages of Aristovo and Kuznetsovo) of Veliky Ustyug district, a section of the variegated sediments of the Upper Tatarian subyear of the Upper Permian system with a rich complex of organic remains at the base of the section is one of the most well-known sand lenses on the Northern Dvina, the so-called Aristova lens, which contains a rich complex of vertebrate remnants. The section was approved by Decisions No. 98 of January 29, 1963, and No. 375 of August 5, 1985, previously protected by the Shemogodsky rural Council."

Proceeding from this, it is imperative need to visit these slopes, shores in summertime, to see sediments and outcrops of ancient rocks.

In general, Kuznetsovo is an ordinary village with ordinary houses.

Good in the village in the summer! But it's winter now...

In winter, the number of permanent residents decreases. Many houses are used only as a summer house.

But some have whole peasant farms.

The ravine where the Black River flows. Fir trees grow on the edge.

In Kuznetsovo, the most interesting thing is a ravine and a steep bank, but these places are best viewed in the summer.

Очень круто. Недаром киношники в советские времена в этих районах любили сказки снимать.
