The Indian flying fox (Pteropus medius), also known as the greater Indian fruit bat, is one of the largest bats in the world. Though this one is wrapped up, snug as a bug in a rug, mind you, its wingspan could be up to 1.5m when fully outstretched. These bats feed on a range of different fruits, nectar and flowers. ⁣⁣
