If the children were architects, they would build the Amarin Hotel

in #travel5 years ago

That was one of the thoughts which run through my mind even before the check-in in the hotel Amarin located in Rovinj, Croatia.

As soon as you enter the reception you feel that it is not a "normal" hotel. While editing your application, children can become entangled by riding on plastic horses or climbing on the two stories high climbing web. I have to borrow the photo from the internet because believe me, there were always kids on it, regardless of the hour. :)

When entering the room, I was fascinated by the great panoramic windows, the balcony, and the sea view... But the girls focused on a box of colored foam circles, which is also intended for the wall above the bed. They are inserted into the holes in the wall and thus create any artwork. This way, the child in the room is never bored.

There was a large double bed in the room, which can be split into two single without any problem. Under each one can extract an extra bed. I was impressed by the fact that everything was "slidable" - you could slide the bed along the entire length of the wall, as there are guides on the wall where sliding beds with nightstand are sliding. And the mirror on the wall opposite the window made a room huge and bright.

But enough of the room... Through the whole hotel the kids, and also we, as parents had a lot to see. In playrooms, children's wishes are pleasurable for hotel animators, but it is also possible to arrange for childcare. You can arrange for daycare with afternoon rest (in fact, they have a room with beds for rest), or only for shorter protection, if the children are bigger, you can also arrange to leave the playroom themselves. We didn't use this kind of care, because we arranged this short vacation to spent the time with the kids, and not without them. In addition to the playrooms, there was a room with video games, where at first glance most of their days were spent by dads.

But most of all we were impressed by the surroundings. Because of the weather we had only half an hour to spend it outside. Shame, because there was so much to see, and do. :)

Kids, of course. :) The surroundings of the hotel are beautifully decorated. A number of outdoor playgrounds link concrete tracks that are perfect for children's cycling or walking with a trolley.

There are very few steps so access with the prams was enabled practically everywhere. The hotel also looks impressive from the outside, as it is designed so that almost all the rooms are facing the sea. In front of the hotel, there were large outdoor swimming pools, which, while our October visit, is still waiting for the next summer season. But it was more than obvious that it offers enormous attractions for children.

In the winter months, swimming is possible in the indoor pool. It's not very big, but it's completely enough for children. It offers two slides and various water playgrounds, which was more than enough for our little frogs. Massage pools are available for adults, a separate sauna area and a small fitness room.

And when I'm at a fitness room, bigger than an adult fitness room is a fitness room for children or so-called gym. Cute little treadmills, room bikes, climbing walls, pillows, balls and all other elements that belong to the gym. While staying at the hotel we did a lot of swimming to burn all the calories we ate the food at the self-service restaurant. The choice was great, and you could find dishes for all tastes. Success was the buffet counters for children, which were lowered to their height so that they can take food themselves. And there were many children's stools available for smaller children.

If there is still some energy left all day, there is also a cinema where every other day is a second cartoon, or climbing the net again until it lets the last. To sum up: the hotel offers everything that children want. Everything is designed to promote child motorsport, thinking and play. And if they are happy children, they are also happy parents. At the time of our visit, we were able to afford a complete disconnection from all obligations and to follow the children's wishes and we had fun, which was the whole point of our vacations.

So if you have small kids, a full wallet for the summer season, or a bit thinner for days off season give it a go. You will be impressed. :)

I wish you a pleasant start of the new working week. And, of course, photos were made by me.

They should pay you for promoting their hotel.

Hehe, I wouldn't mind a buck or two from their side. :)

Must be popular with the kids! Looks great.

Indeed it was. They even didn't want to go to sleep. Who could blame them? :)

That is beautiful place, like the idea that there is a huge place and playground. In summer you can see how many people there and with little kids that must be the best place to go, also to be outside on fresh air and see the sea. Thank you for sharing it :)
