Sensoji Temple Asakusa
Hi Steemit.
It's popular to visit a temple on a new year. This famous temple in Tokyo was very crowded with visitors. It's a must visit for tourists visiting Tokyo
There is a shopping street from the entrance all the way to the main temple building
A lot of shops selling food and souvenirs
The main temple gate
Inside the main temple gate
Pagoda
Fortune telling. You pick 1 wooden stick and there is a number written on it, then you open the box with that same number and there is a paper which is your fortune for this year. If it is a bad fortune you can hang the paper as shown on that red hanger.
To boost your luck you can buy lucky charms. There are selections for health, car safety, business, relationship, etc.
The picture of the temple is really nice, one the last ones thanks for sharing with us
