Canada, BC Hiking: Kinney lake
This summer I have been hiking on this gorgeous trail up to Kinney Lake. It's a 8 miles (out and back) hike with 2000 ft elevation that is pretty easy to do over half day. It is starting in a beautiful green forest along the river shown on the first picture.
I was really amazed by the color of the water contrasting with this very green forest.
Once arrived to Kinney lake, the view is splendid and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The hike continue up to Berg lake where you can camp there but unfortunately I was running out of time for this trip to do it.
It's a great Hike that I recommend if you are travelling around Jasper National park!

Last I hiked in jasper was in the 70's skyline trail, north park boundary to name a couple. Did quite a few all solo. Hiking solo really brings out the safety factor. You just don't take chances. Less risky than traveling with idiots.
