Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @softa:

The Old Town Bridge Tower is considered to be one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Europe. It was built in the 70-80s of the 14th century by architect Petr Parler. The tower was built not only as a fortification, but also represents the type of the victorious arc. Most were damaged in 1648 when the Swedish troops failed to recharge the Old City.

The Church of St. Nicholas is located in the charming district of Mala Strana under the Prague Castle Hill.

With its baroque architecture and blue top, the church is easily recognizable from every panorama of Prague.

What a superb image well worth featuring in today's contest. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas

Thanks a lot Tomas :) that's one of my favorite shot from my Prague trip.

Close-up view of blooming meadow flowers and fields with silhouettes of a small village in the background on a cloudy summer day. This beautiful Czech landscape can be found in the Kruzberk region.

Ruins of Rokštejn Castle, Moravia, Vysočina Region, near the village of Panská Lhota

It was once, from the 13th to the 15th century, a very significant castle. He belonged to the Moravian Margraves.
During the weak reign of Wenceslas IV. it got into private hands. His owner joined the Hussites. It became fatal to the castle. It was destroyed by the Jihlava troops, which were loyal to Catholic King Zikmund.
The conquest of the castle around 1424 and its burning is documented by archaeological finds.

If closely looked at, this image shows the prague city in totality. At least it is a good representation of the city. Its a small monument or structure that summarises or represents the plan and the arrangement of the city . It features and highlights every important figure or symbol of the city.

The settlement of Novodvorská was named after the New Courts in the nearby village of Lhotka. Its construction was carried out in 1963-68 according to the architectural plan of Aleš Bořkovec and Vladimír Ježek. Fountain with two fountain systems in front of the cultural center is decorated with metal sculpture "Dálky" by Jiří Novák from 1970.
The whole area of the square was to undergo a complete reconstruction, in which all the artistic creations were to be removed, incl. fountains. Fortunately, this has been avoided thanks to the initiative of the sculptor Pavel Karouse, who joined the public and the authors of the fountain and the settlement.

Inside the church of St. Nicholas represents the most hungry Prague top-baroque interior. The walls are covered with artificial marble by John Hennevogel and ceilings, ceiling frescoes by important Baroque painters. The main altar with gilded copper statue of St. Nicholas, according to Platzer's design.

When I was looking for a suitable object to dig out of Vysehrad's fortification, this small private vineyard fell into my eye. Although Prague is not a well-known wine-growing area, vineyards are also located here. One district in Prague has its name: Královské Vinohrady (Royal's vineyards).

In this pic is The Church of St. James in Brno. It's built in late gothic style and it's history dates back to 13 century. At the time of taking the picture, I had no idea about this. But it was just too magnificient not to take a picture of it. Walking streets of Brno feels exactly like this. Nice old building looming over you on eeach corner. On this one, I was overwhelmed by both, the church and the opposite building as well.

The Heart of Prague Old Town Square.
Spend a while admiring the architecture. The Old town square is a great place to spend sometime and relax. Old Town Square is the number one attraction and gathering place in the Czech Republic. Not only it is beautiful but it looks different every time as the details in the buildings are amazing and the cleanliness of the square visited by millions of tourists is unbelievable! Well done for keeping it clean and safe!

The quarry formed on the site of the former Janič's hill has an elongated oval shape and at its bottom there is a natural lake, which originated in 2005 after the end of mining. At that time, water transparency reached up to six meters, but the natural planting of the fish caused a reduction in transparency to 1.5 meters.
